RW Simon bids farewell to colleague and celebrates promotions

RW Simon TH Retirement 2026

RW Simon, a UK manufacturer of background ventilation and louvre solutions for the glazing and construction industries, is marking the retirement of a long-standing member of its team while recognising the development of two colleagues through internal promotions.

Terry Hitchins, Accounts Manager and Company Secretary, is retiring after 20 years with the company.

During that time, Terry has played an important role in the business, providing commitment, experience and support to the team.

Lee Manton, General Manager at RW Simon, said: “Terry has been a valued member of the team for two decades, and we want to thank him for everything he has contributed to the business over the years.

“Twenty years is a significant commitment, and he leaves with our very best wishes. We hope he enjoys a long, happy and well-deserved retirement.”

Alongside Terry’s departure, RW Simon has announced two internal role changes.

Richard Knight, who was previously Assistant Management Accountant, has been promoted to the role of Accounts Manager. Natalie Jenkins is also taking on new responsibilities, moving from Sales Administrator to Accounts Administrator.

Lee added: “It’s always good to be able to recognise the experience and potential within our own team.

“Richard and Natalie have both taken the next steps in their careers with us, and we’re looking forward to seeing them develop in their new roles. Congratulations to them both.

“Of course, Natalie’s move means we now have a vacancy for a Sales Administrator, so we’re also looking forward to welcoming someone new to the RW Simon team.”

The Sales Administrator position offers an opportunity to join an established UK manufacturing business and become part of the RW Simon team.
