PiGs backs GGP Installer Awards with new partnership

PiGs AKA People in Glazing Society has been announced as a supporting organisation of the 2027 GGP Installer Awards, further strengthening links between two organisations committed to celebrating and promoting excellence across the UK glazing and fenestration sector.
PiGs is widely recognised as one of the industry’s leading networking communities, bringing together professionals from across the glazing supply chain through its popular regional events, media platforms and industry initiatives.
The partnership will see PiGs support the awards programme as it prepares for its 2027 event, which will take place on 11 March 2027 at a new home, The Edwardian Hotel, Manchester.
Organised by Glass & Glazing Products (GGP) magazine, the awards recognise outstanding achievement among installers, projects, products and people throughout the UK fenestration industry.
The GGP Installer Awards have established themselves as the sector’s dedicated installer-focused awards programme, providing businesses with the opportunity to showcase excellence in workmanship, innovation and customer service.
“The GGP Installer Awards are all about recognising the people and businesses driving standards across our industry, so it’s fantastic to have PiGs supporting the 2027 programme,” said Chris Beck, Editor of GGP.
“PiGs has built a reputation for bringing the glazing community together, creating valuable connections and encouraging collaboration across the sector. Their involvement reinforces the people-focused ethos of the awards and will help us engage with even more professionals as we celebrate the very best of installation excellence.”
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to championing the achievements of glazing professionals and highlighting the individuals and companies that continue to raise standards throughout the industry.
Sarah Ball, PiGs ‘Sty Master’, said: “We have admired the Installer Awards as they celebrate top installations that demonstrate the professionalism of the industry – and the people who make this happen.
“After supporting the Glazing Summit for the last two years, it felt the natural next step to be a supporting organisation for the Installer Awards.
“In the coming weeks, we will be trying to get those last minute applications sent in, promoting these brilliant awards, and of course celebrating the winners in March!”
The GGP Installer Awards are independently judged by a panel of leading names from across the industry, giving them further clout within the sector as an awards programme worth participating in.
There is still time to submit your entry for next year’s awards, with the deadline for submissions recently extended until Friday 27 November.
