PiGs Newcastle hits the right ‘Toon’

The third People in Glazing Society AKA PiGs’ networking event of the year, or the PiGs Summer Party, was another resounding success.
Taking place in Newcastle for the first time, over a hundred professionals from across the glazing supply chain were in attendance in the picturesque Pitcher & Piano on the Quayside.
The North-East is another strong part of the UK for the glazing sector, with many fabricators in the area, so the chance to connect with customers and the potential of new business was too good an opportunity to miss.
After a record-breaking first and second events in Birmingham and Bristol respectively, this was another event that drew big numbers for PiGs,
A night of ‘beer, banter and networking’ was of course on the agenda, accompanied by some perfect summer food to enjoy whilst looking out onto the River Tyne.
George Lewis, Editorial PiG, was blown away by the support.
He said: “The fact we had over a hundred people attend our first event in Newcastle is testament to how much PiGs plays a part in the glazing social calendar.
“It was great to see a mix of the familiar faces alongside some new faces, with some attending for the first time!
“Thank you to everyone that joined us, and I am already looking forward to ending the year on a high in Manchester in November.”
