Jason Kay Celebrates 20-Year Milestone at GAP

Jason Kay is celebrating 20 years at GAP

Celebrating two decades of service is a rare and special occasion, and that’s exactly what GAP recently did for one of its valued team members, Jason Kay.

GAP marked this remarkable milestone for one of its own – Jason, fondly known as ‘Rockdoor Ralph’ (more on that later) and affectionately called ‘Big Jay,’ who has been part of the company for 20 years.

Jason’s journey with the company began in 2005, when GAP acquired ProPlas, its Bolton-based customer where he was working at the time.

Since joining, Jason has taken on a variety of roles. He started as Depot Manager in Bolton, later managing teams in Bury and Blackburn, bringing his trademark dedication and leadership to every role.

Today, he works in GAP’s Sales Office, where he’s the go-to person for anything related to GAP and Rockdoor. GAP says his knowledge and experience are well known across the company, and his “nothing is too much trouble” approach has made him a favourite with both colleagues and customers.

To mark the milestone, his team pulled out all the stops—gifts, balloons, a brilliant cardboard cutout of Ralph. And the nickname “Rockdoor Ralph”? That comes from the Disney film Wreck-It Ralph – Jason bears a bit of a resemblance to the character, and the name just stuck.

Two decades on, Jason is still bringing the same dedication, helpfulness, and friendly spirit that he started with back in 2005.

Congratulations to Jason Kay on 20 incredible years with GAP.
