With more than 23 years in the fenestration and glazing industry, Sam shares his career journey — from starting out as a window installer after following a friend into the trade, to working at RISA on inspection services, and now leading the technical team at FENSA.
Sam discusses his day-to-day role, the common challenges faced by installers, and the support and guidance FENSA provides to help businesses stay compliant and raise standards.
He also talks about the upcoming Building Regulation changes, why he sees them as a real opportunity to improve quality across the industry, and how FENSA is helping installers prepare for what’s ahead.
Finally, Sam takes on our quick-fire questions, revealing his love of football (and Aston Villa!), his favourite food, and who he’d swap roles with for a day at FENSA.
