Getting to know: Kelly’s Heroes Climb Kilimanjaro – Tristan Scoffield

As part of the Kelly’s Heroes Climb Kilimanjaro charity fundraiser, we are getting to know the team taking on the incredible challenge between 12-21 September 2024.
Next up we hear from Tristan Scoffield, of the National Glass Association (NGA) in the USA.

How long you’ve been there? Five years
How long have you been in the glazing industry in total? Five years
Why are you climbing Kilimanjaro? For myself and my own struggles and to raise support for people currently going through dark times, and the people bereaved by such a tragic event.
How are you preparing? Strength training and distance running.
What are you least looking forward to? When it’s over.
What are you most looking forward to? The sights.
What does Kelly’s Heroes mean to you? Kelly’s Heroes mean that even though in such dark times, when people feel their most alone, that they will always have someone who cares about them; whether they know it or not. That there’s a group dedicated to making those people feel less alone in this world.
