Strongdor’s Jordan Hodgson takes a giant leap for charity

On 29 March, Jordan Hodgson, Junior Buyer at Morcambe-based steel door manufacturer Strongdor will take on an exciting challenge by completing a charity skydive in support of Unique Kidz and Co.
Strongdor is dedicated to giving back to the community, and this marks the company’s second fundraiser of 2025 for this incredible organisation.
Earlier in the year, Strongdor contributed gifts to the children and young adults who benefit from Unique Kidz and Co’s services as part of Random Acts of Kindness Day (Strongdor supports local charity Unique Kidz and Co – PiGs).
During a visit to the facility, Strongdor employees had the opportunity to exchange gifts and gain insight into the vital work the charity does for the local community.
Building on the success of this donation, Jordan is now taking his support to new heights. His skydive will help raise funds for Unique Kidz and Co, a cause that holds strong personal significance for him.
The charity has had a profound impact on his brother, Jared, who has Down’s syndrome and has greatly benefited from the support and services provided. Through this challenge, Jordan aims to ensure that more children and young adults can access the invaluable resources offered by the organisation.
Founded in 2009 by two mothers seeking essential support services for their children, Unique Kidz and Co has since become a vital resource for more than 130 children and young adults. The charity provides a safe and welcoming environment where they can engage in activities, play, and socialise, and develop essential life skills.
