CRASH raises over £15,000 during 2026 golf day

On a sunny October day, the CRASH 2026 Golf Day was held, also celebrating its 30th Anniversary as the construction industries charity.
The day started by welcoming everyone to Stock Brook Manor and ensuring everyone had got their mulligans, just in case they needed them.
17 teams of CRASH’s Patrons and supporters then took to the course to play the full 18 holes.
Along the way they had a chance to Beat the Pro and have a bit of fun on the Golf Darts which were supplied by Nimble Media.
Once back, everyone enjoyed a post-game lunch before the results were announced with a big congratulations to:
- Nearest the Pin – Ken Alborough
- Best Overall player – Ewan Schmidt
- Best Team – Nimble Media
The raffle and auction then took place with prizes including a £150 Ivy voucher, multiple Golf Days, tickets to the Spurs vs Ipswich game, and the much-coveted Dulux dog life sized toy.
The day was a great success and with thanks to the support from our Patrons and supporters raised over £15,400, which will go on to make a real difference to CRASH’s work and its impact within homelessness and hospices.
CRASH gave a special thank you to Vicky Binley from Nimble Media, Caroline Hudson from Keltbray and Vicki Stipetic from Taylor Wimpey for volunteering their time to support the CRASH team on running the day.
Aswell as its headline sponsors, Keltbray, and additional sponsors from Innova Care Concepts, Arcadis, Dulux, Taylor Wimpey, Nimble Media and Landway Construction.
CRASH said not only did the day raise a fantastic amount, but it highlighted the power of the industry coming together to support charitable causes and create lasting social impact.
