Nix’s Nikki Dunbar to take on Tour du Mont Blanc hike for charity

Nikki Dunbar, Founder of full-service marketing agency Nix Collective, is taking on one of Europe’s most demanding long-distance hikes this August, as she tackles the Tour du Mont Blanc to raise money for wildlife conservation charity IAPWA.
The Tour du Mont Blanc is a 170-kilometre circular trek around the Mont Blanc massif, passing through France, Italy and Switzerland. The route involves long days on foot, steep climbs, and more than 10,000 metres of ascent and descent.
“I love nothing more than being out in the mountains,” said Nikki. “So if I can raise some much-needed funds at the same time, then why not?”
Nikki is fundraising for IAPWA, an international charity that works to protect wildlife and wild places through conservation programmes, ranger support, and anti-poaching initiatives.
“They do important work in places where it really counts,” she explained. “This felt like a good excuse to do something I enjoy, while supporting a charity that actually makes a difference.”
As Founder of Nix Collective, Nikki runs a full-service marketing agency specialising in the construction sector. Training is already underway ahead of the August challenge, with Nikki preparing through regular long-distance runs, treks, and hill training.
Anyone wishing to support the fundraising effort can donate via the JustGiving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/tmb-nikki.
“The glazing industry is renowned for being incredibly generous and every bit helps,” Nikki added. “Every single donation gives me another reason to keep putting one foot in front of the other for a very good cause.”
