Doing it for Millie

Gareth Parton, Senior Business Development Manager for Profine UK, has recently completed the Leeds Half Marathon to raise vital funds for a charity close to his heart.
Gareth, along with his son Oliver, agreed to take part in the marathon to fundraise for Lymphoma Action.
After several months of training in preparation, they both completed the run on 12 May, whilst also raising over £3000 for the charity.
Their reason for taking part was due to Gareth’s daughter and Oliver’s sister Emelia, an NHS mental health nurse, who was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma, a cancer that affects the lymphatic system, part of the immune system.
But it what is brilliant news to all, after four months of intense chemotherapy treatment, Emilia, or Millie to friends and family, is now in full remission and clear of cancer.
But that doesn’t stop what Lymphoma Action are providing to other families, so Gareth, Oliver and their family have said that if anyone wants to show support back to Millie and other young people living with this condition, to head to Oliver’s Just Giving page to donate.
