CRASH: Building caring communities within construction

CRASH has been the UK construction industry’s social impact and charity partner since 1996.
CRASH unites the power of the industry to do good by channelling their professional expertise, construction products, and fundraising to construct places that care for the sick, vulnerable, and homeless in the communities where we work and live. CRASH’s work demonstrates how charity partnership with the construction industry can build a more caring society.
Well-designed and expertly built environments have a positive effect on how we all feel and behave. This is especially true for vulnerable homeless people and children and adults with a life-limiting illness. CRASH unites the construction industry’s passion, skills, and resources – constructing places that care for people.
Why glazing is important to CRASH
Every project we undertake, whether it’s supporting a homelessness charity or a hospice relies on quality glazing. Windows, handles, hardware, frames, and glass are essential elements in creating safe, comfortable, and functional spaces for those in need.
Proper glazing not only enhances the durability and efficiency of a building but also creates warm and welcoming environments that positively impact the people who need them.
A special thanks
CRASH has formed a new partnership with People in Glazing Society (PiGS), and as a valued Media Partner, it will help CRASH spread awareness of its important mission and the vital role that glazing plays in our projects.
