Business Micros team signs up for Manchester Half Marathon

They’re very used to keeping the industry’s software running smoothly, but now the team at Business Micros (BM) have set themselves a different kind of running challenge – taking on the Manchester Half Marathon on 13 October.
The team – made up of Nick Bailey and Louise Anderson from sales, Elliot Chadwick, Kevan Howarth and Paul Fairbrother from installations and Dave Boaler from data, as well as Nick and Louise’s better halves Katie and Simon – are raising money for two causes very close to their hearts – Cancer Research UK and Prostate Cancer UK.
Nick is an experienced runner, but this will be the first half marathon for most of them, so they are currently training hard to make sure they all cross the line and raise as much as possible for their charities.
Each of the BM team has set themselves an individual fundraising target of £100 for the charities which do so much for so many, and they’re appealing for backing from the industry to help them get there.
