Jeremy Angel takes on wing walk to support The Christie Charity

Jeremy Angel

Jack Aluminium Systems’ Sales Manager, Jeremy Angel, is preparing to become the first fundraiser ever to complete a wing walk this August in support of The Christie Charity.

The event holds particular significance for Jeremy, who was diagnosed with the rare appendix cancer Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP) in 2015.

After spending ten years under the care of specialists at The Christie, he was discharged at the end of 2025.

Now, less than a year later, Jeremy will take to the skies at Sleap Airfield near Shrewsbury on 6 August to raise funds for the organisation that helped save his life.

Jeremy said: “Without the expertise of the team at The Christie, I wouldn’t be here today.

“The care and support I received throughout my treatment was incredible and this is my way of giving something back. If I can help raise funds that support future patients and their families, then every minute out on that wing will be worth it.”

Andy Short, Managing Director of Jack Aluminium Systems, added: “Everyone at Jack Aluminium is incredibly proud of Jez.

“Many people across the glazing industry know him, but not everyone knows the journey he has been through over the last decade.

“To come through that experience and then take on such a remarkable challenge for the charity that supported him is inspiring.

“We hope the industry gets behind him and helps him raise as much money as possible.”
