FUHR Strengthens Aluminium Door Security Solutions

FUHR UK has continued its long-standing relationship with aluminium systems supplier Smart Architectural Aluminium, with its multipoint locking solutions being specified across Smart’s Designer and Signature Door ranges.
FUHR’s locking systems have reportedly remained a trusted choice for Smart Architectural Aluminium within its door portfolio, supporting fabricators and installers with proven performance, specification flexibility and consistent security compliance. asked
Scott Garner, National Sales Manager at Smart Architectural Aluminium, commented: “FUHR’s locking range gives us the flexibility to support multiple door styles and user requirements without compromising on security performance.
“Their proven durability and technical support make them a strong fit for our Designer Doors and Signature ranges.”
Smart’s range includes FUHR lift-lever multipoint systems, offering secure engagement and user-friendly operation for modern residential entrance doors.
Options such as the multisafe 859 split spindle functionality allow internal lever handle operation while maintaining controlled access from the outside with via the key to retract the latch.
Building on this established offering, Smarts have also incorporated FUHR’s autosafe 835, a next-generation automatic multipoint locking system designed to deliver enhanced security and convenience.
A heritage option is also available to suit traditional door designs, with a higher cylinder position that replicates classic styling without sacrificing performance.
Paul Balfe, Business Development Manager at FUHR UK, said: “Smart’s are widely recognised for their design leadership and technical standards.
Our long-standing relationship reflects a shared commitment to quality, and the introduction of solutions such as the autosafe 835 ensures fabricators and installers can offer modern door designs with security and convenience built in.”
