Aluminium Doors and Windows invests in Kombimatec machine

Aluminium Doors and Windows has accelerated its manufacturing performance by 30% following investment in a new Kombimatec AMC328 CNC machining centre – which is said to strengthen efficiency, consistency and capacity as demand grows.
With over 15 years’ experience across residential and commercial projects in the South East and East Anglia, the company has steadily expanded its in-house manufacturing operation to deliver a fully integrated, end-to-end service.
“By bringing manufacturing in-house, we’re able to offer a complete solution – from design through to installation – with full accountability and consistency,” said Managing Director, Mario Lopata.
However, increasing volumes and complexity began to expose the limitations of manual machining.
Mario said: “We needed to improve both speed and precision. Investing in CNC technology allows us to reduce errors, minimise waste and significantly increase output, while freeing up our team to focus on higher-value work.”
Delivered in March, the AMC328 CNC machining centre supports the fabrication of aluminium systems including windows, doors and curtain walling. Its automated functions and user-friendly interface enabled rapid integration into production, with minimal disruption.
“The impact was immediate,” added Mario. “Our workflow is now much smoother and more efficient, with far less reliance on manual processes. “It’s sped up our process by 30% while reducing mistakes and material waste”.
The investment marks a strategic step forward as the company continues to scale its manufacturing capability.
“We’re already looking at additional machinery to further enhance quality and efficiency,” said Mario. “This is about building a stronger, more resilient operation for the long term.”
Kombimatec was reportedly selected as a machinery partner based on its hands-on approach and strong customer support.
Mario concluded: “They offered clear information, transparent pricing and excellent training. That level of support made a real difference.”
