GGF at FIT Show 2025

With CSCS ending Grandfather Rights and a tightening up of MTC requirements for installers and surveyors, the GGF is using this year’s FIT Show as an opportunity to demonstrate how companies can complete compliancy quickly, easily and cost effectively through its recently launched online training platform and industry partnerships.
Visitors to the stand will be able to participate interactively in course demonstrations, laying out a clear and navigable pathway towards ensuring its site teams are trained ready for accreditation.
Join the GGF workshops
As sponsors of the FIT Show seminar programme, the GGF will also be leading a couple of workshops specifically around training and competency. Sam Davies, FENSA Technical Manager, will be bringing visitors up to date about MTC and Grandfather Rights, and John Mannell, Technical Officer and Training Manager, will be speaking about the Future of Training and Competence in the Glass & Glazing Sector as a whole.
“We are keen to highlight the importance of competency, but at the same time demonstrate that achieving it is quicker and simpler than maybe initially thought. Once you have seen the user friendliness of our training platform you can see how online learning can help not just those new to the sector but to help keep experienced workers up to date with current regulatory requirements,” said John.
Throughout the three days, GGF experts across the industry will be on hand to answer questions across a range of industry issues – from apprenticeship schemes to the latest building regulation implications. Members of the ACDM Association of Composite Door Manufacturers will also be able to chat through the implications of the GGF’s recent acquisition of their trade organisation.
It won’t all be work though, and the GGF and FENSA, alongside Business Pilot, are looking forward to hosting the special FIT Show PiGs gathering on the evening of Wednesday 30 April.
The GGF and FENSA are on stand number G40.
