Honouring our heroes

To commemorate Armistice Day on 11 November, double glazing manufacturer and installer CN Glass tasked its leading department to create a memorial to those that fought in World War I and World War II.
And the team did not let them down. The team, which included CN Glass’ latest appointment, aged just 17, created an impressive piece (pictured) that takes centre stage at its Banbury showroom entrance.
Gary Mouat, Managing Director at CN Glass, said: “Each year we do a different tribute for 11/11/11 and this year we asked our leading department to step it up.
“It means a lot to me and a lot of people at CN Glass that our ancestors/soldiers gave everything so we can live a free and happy life.
“Both my grandad and great grandad fort in ww1 and ww2 and some of our employees have sons and daughters in the armed forces.
“We hope to step it up again next year.”
