MRA Research launches tech arm and acquires ProspectManager

In its strategy to build on MRA Research’s legacy and grow across the construction industry, MRA Research has announced two initiatives.
First, the launch of MRA Tech Research, spearheaded by Callum Budd, Research Director, and Scott Dodgson, Commercial Director; and second, the acquisition of MRA Data Services, a group prospect data business trading as ProspectManager.
The two initiatives reportedly add significantly to MRA Research’s core capability and the help it can offer customers.
Mike Rigby, MRA Research Managing Director, said: “Given the continuing growth in the adoption of construction-tech, and more recently the push to realise the potential benefits of both data and AI in the building materials supply chain, Callum and Scott’s years of experience in Tech research are relevant and timely,”
“They set up MRA Tech Research (mratechresearch.co.uk) to help companies research commercial and marketing opportunities with confidence.
“MRA has specialised in construction research, the building materials supply chain and home improvement markets for over 30 years, so we speak construction fluently.
“But with the benefit of their previous experience, Callum and Scott also speak Tech fluently.”
Scott added: “When business decisions hinge on the findings of research, you need total confidence in the research methodology, analysis, and understanding, to act on the conclusions and recommendations.
“I think we’ve shown, we can deliver that in spades.”
The MRA Data Services acquisition brings valuable industry prospect databases and, with ProspectManager (www.prospectmanager.co.uk) , smart commercial prospecting into MRA Research to help customers find new customers and build sales for them and their customers.
With an easy-to-use CRM platform, controlled targeting and cost-effective commercial prospecting, customers can, for example, ‘pull through’ and build installer demand for merchants. ProspectManager databases include merchants, specifiers, builders, and installers.
Callum said: “By integrating these databases and assets into the core business, we’re able to draw directly on these high-quality data sources, and further enhance our clients’ understanding of their customers and associated markets, and help to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.”
“The launch of MRA Tech Research and the ProspectManager acquisition,” explained Scott, “reflect MRA’s continued commercial momentum, reinforcing its position as the go-to player for data-driven decision-making, strategic market insight, and real-time customer feedback and understanding in the construction industry and building materials supply chain.”
Companies looking to build competitive advantage and grow, when others are standing still or shrinking, should talk to MRA Research (at hello@mra-research.co.uk) to hear how better research, data and market insight can give them the control and confidence to drive improvement and results.
