RegaLead commemorates the ‘Machu PiGchu’ charity challenge

Decorative glass specialist, RegaLead, has created two beautiful pieces of decorative glass to celebrate the fundraising efforts of the window and door industry.

13 people from across the world of glazing are currently taking on PiGs’ ‘Machu PiGchu’ charity challenge, to raise vital funds for Harry’s Pals, a charity set-up by Hayley and Kommerling UK’s Andrew Charlesworth.

Harry’s Pals offers support to parents who have recently found out that they have a severely ill or disabled child, with respite breaks, free counselling and therapy and a mentoring & support service.

Guy Hubble, Joint Managing Director at RegaLead said: “It was an absolute pleasure to work with our specialist team to create these commemorative pieces of glass to celebrate this fantastic challenge and all of the money it has raised for Harry’s Pals.

“A huge well done to everyone who is taking part, for raising awareness and vital funds for such a great cause.”

RegaLead presented its commemorative glass pieces to Sarah Hitchings, of Window Widgets and The Residence Collection, and Doorco’s Sion Buckley and Emi Arnaut before they began their journey to Peru on 2 October.

The team will follow the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu across five days, landing back in the UK on 11 October.

Tackling the Inca Trail alongside Sarah, Sion & Emi are: Andrew Charlesworth (Profine Group), Gareth Jones (Solar Fabrications), Sandrine Oakes, Gemma Diratzonian (Assa Abloy Group), Samantha Nuckey (Window Ware), Julie Holmes (Mila UK & Ireland), Sarah Ball (People in Glazing), Andy Ball (The Joinery Network), Gareth Green (Whitefly Automation) & Dan Powell (Allegion).
