WFN’s Sarah Ball to speak at Diversity and Inclusion Conference

Sarah Ball DIIC 2026

Sarah Ball, Founder of the Women in Fenestration Network (WFN), is set to take to the stage at the Diversity and Inclusion in Construction (DIIC) 2026 Conference, taking place at the Amex Stadium on 22 October.

The event brings together professionals from across the construction industry to discuss diversity, inclusion and the opportunities available to people looking to build careers across the sector.

Sarah will be speaking at 11:40am, as part of the session “Changing the Face of Trades | Specialist Contractor Pathways into Non-Traditional Careers | Glazing, Fenestration, Roofing & Bricklaying”.

The session will explore the different routes into specialist trades and highlight how the industry can broaden its appeal to a more diverse workforce.

With Sarah’s extensive work promoting opportunities for women across the fenestration sector, the session provides an ideal platform to discuss how the industry can challenge perceptions and encourage more people to consider careers in glazing and fenestration.

WFN will also be exhibiting at the event, giving attendees the opportunity to find out more about the Network and its work supporting, connecting and championing women across the fenestration industry.

Since its formation, the Women in Fenestration Network has worked to create a stronger community for women working across the sector, while helping to showcase the wide range of career opportunities available within fenestration.

Sarah’s appearance at DIIC 2026 will provide an opportunity to bring the voice of the fenestration industry to a wider construction audience, while highlighting the importance of creating pathways into careers that may traditionally have been overlooked by women and other underrepresented groups.
