Women in Fenestration Network unveils Development Day agenda

The Women in Fenestration Network (WFN) has released the full agenda for its inaugural Professional Development Day, taking place on 25 June 2026 in Bristol.
Designed to bring together women from across the fenestration sector, the event will offer a mix of professional development, practical learning, networking opportunities and industry insight, while also marking several significant milestones for the newly established network.
Sarah Ball, Founder of the Women in Fenestration Network, said: “We are super excited about the event and have created something for women wherever they are in their careers and wherever they sit within the supply chain.
“This is an important event in the industry calendar, and we are hopeful that its relevance to women working across the sector will help it grow stronger year after year, supporting even more women over time.
“We are especially pleased to be launching our mentoring programme. We believe mentorship has the power to support personal and professional growth, help women build confidence, and create stronger connections throughout the industry.”
The day has been carefully designed to balance insight, practical learning and meaningful connection, with speakers and sessions aimed at inspiring attendees while providing practical takeaways.
Key highlights of the agenda include the official launch of the Women in Fenestration Network, setting out its vision to support and connect women across the industry, alongside an inspiring keynote presentation from former England Rugby Captain Catherine Spencer.
The event will also see the launch of the WFN Mentoring Programme, providing opportunities for both mentors and mentees to get involved and support professional development across the sector.
Attendees will hear from industry experts during a panel discussion on breaking barriers in fenestration and take part in a practical AI and confidence-building session led by Carly Grant, exploring how tools such as ChatGPT can support productivity, confidence and work-life balance.
Throughout the day, there will be extensive networking opportunities, enabling attendees to build valuable connections with women from across the fenestration supply chain, while the closing session will provide an update on WFN’s future plans, including membership, partnerships and upcoming initiatives.
