Winkhaus UK celebrates double NFA win

Winkhaus UK is celebrating a double success at the 2025 National Fenestration Awards, winning Door Component of the Year for the autoLock AV4 and Window Component of the Year for aluPilot.
The industry-voted awards recognised Winkhaus as having the best door component and window component on the market, which the company said made this double victory especially meaningful.
Both categories were decided entirely by votes from professionals across the industry, reflecting the confidence and trust placed in Winkhaus products by fabricators, installers, and partners nationwide.

The autoLock AV4 takes the award for Door Component of the year for the second year running, and has reportedly quickly become a market favourite for its combination of reliability, convenience, performance, and security.
Said to be designed to make installer and fabricators lives easier, the AV4 delivers significantly reduces the number of call outs for misaligned and sticky locks. It stands up to the stresses of thermal expansion, whilst meeting PAS24 requirements, the AV4 offers reliable operation, with effortless use regardless of age or ability.
Meanwhile, Window Component of the Year went to our aluPilot window locking system for aluminium window systems reportedly impressed voters for its smart engineering and fabrication efficiency.
Designed specifically for aluminium window systems, aluPilot reduces fabrication time by at least 10 minutes per sash compared to conventional systems, while meeting the demands of enhanced security and safety measures, with simple additions such as the OBALKS child safety restrictor designed to improve ventilation without compromising safety.
