Victorian Sliders Joins Women in Fenestration Network

Victorian Sliders has announced it has joined the Women in Fenestration Network (WFN) as one of seven Founding Members, supporting a new industry initiative dedicated to championing, connecting and empowering women across the fenestration sector.

The company said it’s no secret that the fenestration industry has historically been a male-dominated field, but women across the world are contributing to the industry at every level, from manufacturing and operations to executive and technical roles.

WFN has been established to recognise these contributions and help create opportunities for women to enter, develop and thrive within the industry.

At Victorian Sliders, inclusivity is said to be at the heart of everything it does, and it is committed to creating an environment where its employees feel valued, respected and empowered to succeed.

Today, women make up more than 30% of its workforce, contributing across the business in roles ranging from production, glass and extrusion operations to sales and senior leadership positions.

Joining the WFN as a Founding Member is said to reflect the company’s belief that a diverse workforce drives innovation, strengthens businesses and helps shape a more representative industry.

By supporting WFN from its inception, Victorian Sliders aim to help promote greater visibility, collaboration and professional development opportunities for women throughout the fenestration community.

The Women in Fenestration Network provides an invaluable platform for networking, mentoring, knowledge sharing and career development, while raising awareness of the vital contribution women make to the sector.

Through the collective efforts of its members, the organisation aims to inspire positive, long-term change across the industry.
