Unique strengthens Commercial Team with two new appointments

Unique Window Systems has strengthened its commercial division with the appointment of two experienced project managers from respected companies within the façade construction industry – Colin Warlow and Jenny Thomas.
The appointments are said to enhance Unique’s ability to supply fenestration solutions to commercial customers, such as main contractors and developers, involved in the delivery of largescale projects across the UK.
Reportedly bringing extensive and relevant expertise and experience, Colin and Jenny will work alongside the existing project management team at Unique, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on brief and on budget.
Colin Warlow
Colin joins the company with a diverse background spanning fenestration, cladding, render and fire-rated systems installation, having worked across new build developments, renovation projects and listed and heritage sites.
He will oversee projects across the Midlands and South of England.
Speaking about his appointment, Colin said: “I was attracted to Unique by the professionalism of the team from the very first conversations and factory visit.
“I was particularly impressed by the operational fluidity across departments and the collaborative way the business works, which played a big part in my decision to join.
“I believe my background in client relationships and commercial management will be a valuable addition to the projects assigned to me. I’m delighted to join the team and look forward to the new challenges and opportunities ahead.”
Jenny Thomas
Jenny reportedly brings a wealth of industry experience to her new role and will cover the North of England.
Commenting, Jenny said: “Having worked in the fenestration and façade industry since I was 18, I’ve developed extensive experience across a wide range of projects and built a strong understanding of what it takes to deliver successful outcomes for customers.
“I was looking for a new challenge and, after meeting the team and learning more about the business, it quickly became clear that Unique was the right fit for me. The passion, professionalism and culture throughout the organisation really stood out.
“I bring a strong quality assurance mindset and a firm but fair approach to project delivery. I’m excited to be joining the team and look forward to contributing to the continued success of the business while taking on new challenges along the way.”
Speaking about the new appointments, Mir Patel, Aluminium Operations Manager at Unique, said: “To build on our already extensive track record of supplying windows, doors and curtain walling to large and diverse commercial projects, Unique continues to prioritise the recruitment and development of an unmatched team of talented and experienced people.
“The appointment of Colin and Jenny reflects that and adds to a skills base within the business that already offers valuable industry knowledge, a strong customer focus and proven project delivery expertise.
“They will play an important role in supporting our customers and in ensuring that projects continue to be delivered to the exceptionally high standards that Unique is known for.
“We look forward to the fresh perspectives, professionalism and experience they will bring and would like to extend a warm welcome to the Unique family. We wish them every success in their careers with us.”
