Two PiGs in a Pod – Sam Weber
In this episode, host George is joined by Sam Weber, who has been part of the glazing sector since 1989, and is currently part of Team Sea Soar, a team of rowers taking on the incredible challenge of rowing across the Atlantic Ocean for charity.
Sam explains how he followed his dad into the industry, before venturing out on his own and forging his own career right across the glazing supply chain, and explains his excitement at starting in a new role early next year.
He also gives us the lowdown on his upcoming epic World’s Toughest Row across the Atlantic Ocean this month, how it came about, how he has prepared for it, what he is least looking forward to, and just how much stuff is needed for 50 days out in the water.
Sam also takes part in our quick fire question round, giving us his first and most recent gigs that he has attended, go-to breakfast, and what he sees himself doing in five years time (spoiler alert, it’s more wild challenges!).
