Richard discusses entering the sector as a young door-to-door salesman, before leaving to pastures new in project management in South Africa, before returning to the country and sector in 2006 at Mila.

He also explains how his career journey led him to Universal Trade Frames and becoming Sales Director. He also discusses the key skills involved in the role, the successes of FIT Show 2025 for the company, and future aspirations for both himself and Universal.

Richard also provides details of proudest moments, inspirational people he has worked with during his career, and how it feels to be recognised by the industry after being nominated for a G-Award.
