In this episode of Two PiGs in a Pod (or should it be called Three PiGs in a Pod for this episode?!), George is joined by Steve Langton and Clair Melville-Brown from MACO UK to hear about their varied careers, while celebrating the company’s incredible 40th anniversary in 2026.
Steve and Clair reflect on their own career journeys, sharing how they first entered the glazing industry, some of the milestones that have shaped their careers, and the people and moments that have inspired them along the way.
They also discuss how both MACO and the wider glazing industry has evolved over the years, the biggest changes they’ve witnessed, and what has made working in glazing such a rewarding career.
The conversation also looks back at four decades of MACO UK, exploring the company’s defining achievements, the importance of its long-serving employees, and what it was like celebrating this major milestone with colleagues, customers and industry friends.
Looking to the future, Steve and Clair share their thoughts on what’s next for both themselves and MACO, offer advice to their younger selves starting out in their careers, and explain why they’re optimistic about the future of the glazing sector.
