Sternfenster Achieves Platinum IIP Status

Sternfenster is said to have become the first double glazing company in England to be awarded Platinum accreditation by Investors in People (IIP) – joining an elite group that represents just 2% of all IIP-accredited organisations worldwide.
The accolade recognises businesses that demonstrate exceptional leadership, continuous improvement, and a people-first culture where every individual contributes to organisational success and feels genuinely empowered to thrive.
According to IIP, Platinum organisations are those that “go beyond good practice – creating environments where people are inspired to perform at their best, every day.”
“This is an incredible milestone for Sternfenster and a proud moment for our entire team,” said Mike Parczuk, Sternfenster’s CEO. “We didn’t pursue Platinum as a badge: we built a culture to deserve it. Our people are the driving force behind our growth, and this award reflects the dedication, trust, and shared purpose that define who we are.”
The accreditation marks the culmination of a three-year Pursuit for Platinum strategy launched after Sternfenster achieved IIP Gold in 2022.
Central to this strategy is the company’s Drive to Thrive framework, which has embedded coaching, recognition, and development into every layer of the business. Over the past year alone, more than 1,000 hours of structured coaching and mentoring have been delivered, supported by the launch of the “This is Us” leadership guide, mapping competencies, communication styles, and performance frameworks.
Sternfenster has also championed a culture of recognition and inclusion through its Starbox digital platform, which has logged hundreds of nominations recognising colleague successes and achievements.
The company’s investment in development has been matched by measurable business outcomes: staff retention has increased by almost 40% in five years, and its Correct On Time In Full (COTIF) score, which assesses every delivery against the correct products in the correct quantity, rose to a record high in 2025.
“This Platinum accreditation demonstrates what’s possible when you invest in people as your greatest asset,” added Mike. “It’s recognition not just for our processes, but for the passion and professionalism that our teams bring to work every day. Sternfenster’s Platinum status is proof that culture can drive performance, and we’re immensely proud to lead the way for our industry.”
