Portico Doors backs local under-9 girls team

Charlotte Craggs, Director of Services at Portico Doors, discusses the company’s support of local girls football team, Clegwell Buzzard Under 9 Girls.

“At Portico Doors, supporting the local community is something we have always been proud of.

“As a business we believe in giving back and supporting people around us, especially young people! This is why we were delighted to sponsor Clegwell Buzzard Under 9 Girls football team for the upcoming football season.

“This sponsorship has been a particularly special one for me personally, as my daughter Elsie plays for the team.

“Elsie has been playing football since she was five-years-old and watching her develop is amazing.

“Being able to support the girls through Portico while also watching my daughter enjoy her football has made this sponsorship even more meaningful.

“The girls recently come together for their very first tournament and they certainly made it one to remember!

“Despite it being their first tournament together, the girls showed fantastic teamwork, determination, and enthusiasm throughout the day.

“They battled through their games, supported each other, and never gave up – eventually going all the way to win the tournament and lift the trophy!

“As Services Director at Portico Doors, I couldn’t be prouder to see the Portico name on the shirts and to know that we’re helping support these young players as they develop on and off the pitch.

“Seeing the girls celebrate together after winning was a fantastic moment, and one that I am sure all the parents, coaches and supporters will remember.
