PiGs on the road: Fentrade Open Day

PiGs AKA People in Glazing Society was recently invited to Newport, Wales to the Fentrade Open Day on 27 August, with Editor George Lewis attending the event to see the new facility, catch up with new and old faces, and meet members of the Fentrade team.

The event provided an opportunity for businesses and individuals that work with Fentrade to come together, with attendees able to find out more about the company and its customers.

During the day, George caught up with colleagues from companies such as Jack Aluminium and AluK, alongside members of the Fentrade team.

George said: “For PiGs, opportunities such as the Fentrade Open Day are an important part of me getting out into the industry, and continuing to build relationships across the glazing supply chain.

“While the PiGs community regularly comes together at our own events around the country, visiting events hosted by others within the industry provides another opportunity to meet people, share conversations and keep up to date with what is happening across the sector.

“A big thank you to everyone at Fentrade for the invitation.”

He added: “It was great to spend some time in Newport, meet more of the team and catch up with some familiar faces from across the industry.

“We’re always grateful for the opportunity to get out and about, and the Fentrade Open Day was another great example of the glazing community coming together.

The new facility was great, and I wish the whole team the very best of luck for the coming months and years.”
