PiGs Becomes IAG Media Partner

PiGs AKA People in Glazing Society, the biggest and best networking in the glazing industry, is a media partner for Institute of Architectural Glazing. It’s first show of support was for The Architectural Glazing Careers Festival 2025, that took place on 20 May at the AluK Design Centre, London.

The festival, organised by the newly launched Institute of Architectural Glazing in collaboration with Student Venture and Building Our Skills, was designed to inspire the next generation of talent and establish a structured pathway from education into architectural glazing, façades, and fenestration.

Sarah Ball, STY Master of PiGs, who attended the festival said: “Our belief is that professionalisation of the industry is vital for a sustainable future, and the skills and expertise in the glazing industry are often under the radar and under-valued. This initiative is tackling these issues head on, and by working with Student Venture has a good chance of bringing more people into the industry to kick off a complete career in the glazing sector. Certainly, the calibre of students attending the event was impressive, as was the show of support from suppliers and organisations across the supply chain for architectural glazing.”

The Architectural Glazing Careers Festival 2025 featured expert-led seminars, employer networking, and immersive career exploration — showcasing over 120 roles across 20 career families. PiGs was there in support, celebrating the event’s mission to elevate the glazing profession and attract new talent into a vital part of the construction and design world.
