Nationwide Wins Subcontractor of the Year award

It was a successful night for Nationwide Windows and Doors at the recent Davidsons Homes Annual Awards Presentation and Charity Fundraising Evening in Leicester, with the company winning the ‘Subcontractor of the Year 2024’ (South Midlands) award.
The ‘Subcontractor of the Year 2024’ (South Midlands) award acknowledges exceptional professionalism, resilience, and dedication.
The event, attended by around 630 industry professionals from the construction sector, provided an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of suppliers, subcontractors, and staff, while raising an incredible £60,000 for the Cardiology Unit at Glenfield Hospital.
In addition to being crowned Subcontractor of the Year, Nationwide was also recognised as runners-up in two highly competitive categories – the Customer Care Award and the Health and Safety on Site Award – reflecting the company’s unwavering commitment to excellence across all aspects of its operations.
The Subcontractor of the Year Award was presented to representatives Steve Colledge, Anthony Cross, and Shaun Smith by Davidsons Homes Managing Director, James Burnham, who praised Nationwide for its professionalism and integrity during challenging times.
“To win Subcontractor of the Year and place as runners-up in two other categories is a fantastic achievement,” said Daryl Cashmore, Operations Director at Nationwide.
“The Board and I are immensely proud. This recognition reflects the incredible teamwork, professionalism, and dedication of everyone at Nationwide. This win belongs to every single one of our colleagues who worked tirelessly to get Nationwide to where we are today.”
