MacGregor Recruitment have a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager for the South East region.

Our client is a high quality manufacturer and supplier of windows & doors supplying a customer base that includes installers, trade counters, showrooms and the new build sector. They have an opportunity within their sales team and are looking to appoint a high calibre sales professional to develop strong and strategic relationships with both new and existing customers across the South East region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Sales Director you will drive new business development activities in order to build prospect relationships and gain opportunities to present and negotiate commercial supply agreements
  • You will also develop strong and trusting relationships with the existing customer base across the region, identifying additional sales opportunities
  • Assess your customer and prospect base and identify and develop opportunities for them to increase the sales of the products
  • The business gains a high level of customer enquiries so you will be regularly passed leads to assess and develop, supplemented by your own strategic sales planning

Skills & Experience:

  • A successful track record of developing trade sales within the fenestration sector is essential
  • Excellent people and communication skills – able to develop rapport and build relationships with a diverse customer base
  • Commerciality and flexibility – able to identify the specific needs of the customer and pivot effectively to find a solution to those needs
  • Organised, detailed and able to work effectively independently
  • A valid driving licence and comfortable with extensive travel for site visits across the region

The Package:

  • A good base salary, dependent on skills & experience, perhaps anticipated as circa £50-55k DOE / OTE in the region of £70k
  • A commission based bonus scheme paid monthly – OTE of £12-18k on top realistic
  • Electric company car or car allowance 25 days annual leave, plus statutory
