MacGregor Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Production Manager opportunity, to manage the fabrication of PVCU windows for an established window and door manufacturer in the Stoke area.

Production Manager role:

• Reporting to the General Manager you will manage the day to day operations of the PVCU window fabrication operation
• Supported by 6 cell leaders you will manage a team of approximately 50 fabricators who work across both a day shift and a night shift
• Ensure that the window production targets & quality control standards are achieved
• H&S management, ensuring that the team are working safely and in line with SOPs
• Staff recruitment, training, performance management and resolving issues as they arise
• Contributing to identifying and helping to drive continual improvement within the operation

Skills & Experience:

• Previous Production Management experience of large teams is essential
• Specific experience within the fenestration sector/PVCU window sector is highly desirable
• Strong communication, people and leadership skills
• Self motivated, highly organised, detailed and a solutions approach
• Experience of working to lean 6S and continual improvement is highly desirable

Package:

• Salary of £40-50k DOE
• Standard working hours are 06.00 – 15.00 Mon-Thur & 06.00-12.30 Fridays (however some flexibility may occasionally be required)
• Holidays are start at 30 days inclusive of statutory, increasing to 33 days with service
