• Developing and implementing production policies and procedures.
• Delegating manufacturing tasks to ensure the team meets production deadlines.
• Managing the efforts of manufacturing workers on the production floor.
• Communicating expectations to production workers and appraising their performance.
• Educating production team members about preferred health and safety practices.
• Establishing priorities to ensure the manufacturing team works most efficiently.
• Addressing production problems as they arise.
• Reporting on team performance to the production director.
• Making recommendations about ways to improve employee efficiency and reduce costs.
• Counselling and disciplining production employees who fail to perform or violate company policies in line with the people policies.
• Implementing recommended manufacturing cost reduction strategies.
• Deliver KPI and quality with no fault forward
• Nurturing cooperation and communication within the production team and other departments.
• Work to a high standard to achieve consistence high quality products and liaising with quality manager or quality issues to get the product right for the customer first time
• Delivery company training and initiatives as and when required
• Experience in the Window and Door industry desirable
