Internal Account Manager
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction.
- Act as the primary internal point of contact for customer queries, updates, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with the External Business Development Manager to identify and maximise growth opportunities.
- Support the Order Processing Team by ensuring orders are handled accurately and efficiently.
- Work cross-functionally with production, logistics, and technical departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery of client projects.
- Handle customer concerns proactively, maintaining a solutions-driven and customer-first attitude.
- Monitor account performance and provide regular reports and insights to the sales team.
- Assist in the preparation of quotes, tenders, and proposals when required.
- Champion a customer-centric culture throughout the business.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in account management or sales, preferably within manufacturing, construction, or related industries.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships professionally and effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
- Proactive problem-solver with a positive, customer-first mindset.
- Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
