Area Sales Manager
MacGregor Recruitment are specialist recruiters for the fenestration & building plastic sector. We are pleased to be working in conjunction with an established multi-site supplier of windows and building plastics to trade who have exciting growth plans for the business.
Our client are looking to appoint an experienced Area Sales Manager from the sector with a great track record of developing existing customers and winning new customers in order to grow the customer base and sales of the trade counter branches within the West Midlands region. This is a geographical area that will cover the Birmingham, Tamworth, Telford, Shrewsbury, Kidderminster and Worcestershire area.
- Primarily a field based sales role you will be responsible for delivering sales activities in order to win new trade customers and grow sales
- Ensure that the trade branches in the area achieve sales budgets & margin targets across the West Midlands region
- Effective account management and relationship management of existing customers
- Identifying high potential target customers, building relationships and onboarding new accounts
- Expertly resolving any customer issues that may be escalated
- Producing quotes, updating the CRM systems and reporting activities and results
Skills & Experience:
- Previous success in a field sales role within the building plastics and window supply sector is essential
- Excellent people, communication & rapport building skills – a highly personable approach
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills, able to identify opportunities and overcome objections
- Driven in approach, with the tenacity and drive to ensure that targets are consistently met and surpassed
- Detailed and organised in approach, able to work on own initiative
- Valid UK driving licence
Package:
- Basic salary anticipated in the region of £38-45k DOE + car
