Area Sales Manager
MacGregor Recruitment are pleased to be working in conjunction with a fabricator and supplier of windows & doors to trade who are looking to appoint an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop relationships and sales. Our client is based in Stoke and supplies the trade across a region that encompasses the North West, North Wales and down to the West Midlands.
Area Sales Manager role:
- A field based sales role you will be responsible for delivering sales activities in order to grow the customer base and sales primarily across the North West to West Midlands region
- Effective account management and relationship management of key customers
- Identifying high potential target customers, building relationships and onboarding new accounts
- Expertly resolving any customer issues that may be escalated
- Producing quotes, updating the CRM systems and reporting activities and results
Skills & Experience:
- Previous success in a field sales role within the window & door sector is essential
- Our client is looking for a dynamic self starter individual who enjoys sales and meeting and beating targets – someone who gets a buzz out of opening new customer accounts and seeing the branches grow.
- Excellent people, communication & rapport building skills – a highly personable approach
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills – able to identify sales opportunities, present, negotiate and sign up new customers
- Detailed and organised in approach, able to work on own initiative
- Valid UK driving licence and happy to travel across the region
Package:
- Basic salary is flexible depending on experience – but potentially anticipated as in the region of £45k DOE + car + bonus scheme
- 4 weeks annual leave, plus statutory
