Housing 26 success for Nationwide

Just three weeks after an epic 40th birthday celebration, Nationwide Windows and Doors got back to business with an appearance at Housing 2026.
Engaging with key stakeholders, including local authorities, housing associations, and contractors, the Nationwide team was at the show to highlight ‘The Nationwide Difference’ of product innovation, assured compliance, end-to-end delivery, and meaningful social value for the housing sector.
Kevin Caveney, Commercial Sales Director at Nationwide Windows & Doors said: “We had another great housing show, connecting with industry contacts old and new, and discussing what Nationwide can offer.
“We had lots of interest in our E30SA, PAS24, SBD compliant Fire Door, tested to BS EN 1634-1 / 3, with great feedback on the smooth operation and latching mechanism.
“Our sample window on the stand featured our new 28mm thin triple glazed unit which sparked plenty of conversations, as well as Kubu smart security sensors to demonstrate the benefits of the smart home security system.
“The most overwhelming feedback came from demonstrations of our new installer App and Fingerprint – our innovative product identification system which gives complete product and component lifecycle traceability.
“They are both great tools to help us meet the ‘golden thread’ recommendations set out in the Hackitt Report.”
Nationwide also took the opportunity to demonstrate their social value activities and the outcomes that have been achieved in the last 12 months, which includes: £23.2 million delivered in employment, skills and donations, £122,566 generated in greenhouse gas reduction, £93,136 to promote safeguarding, modern slavery training and community support schemes, £1,623 supporting community inclusion and £44,199 supporting health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.
Kevin added: “PPN 002 (Procurement Policy Note) places social value at the heart of procurement in our sector, and we’re proud to have worked on a number of projects this year that support all five of the Government’s social value missions and create genuine benefits for the residents, communities and local economies where we work.”
