Hodgson Sealants celebrate a triple win at the BASA Showcase

Hodgson Sealants has won in three categories at the recent British Adhesives and Sealants Association (BASA) showcase.
The Beverley-based manufacturer won in three categories, which included:
Manufacturer of the Year

In recent years, the company has doubled its R&D team, which is says has created one of the UK sealant industry’s most advanced innovation pipelines.
Environmental stewardship is said to be central to its strategy, with ongoing investment to monitor, reduce and offset emissions. 57% of our cartridges and buckets now use recycled materials, while R&D explores recycled content in formulations.
It says it is also are committed to achieving Net Zero by 2050, aligning with both UK and global climate ambitions.
Community Engagement of the Year
The company says its heritage is rooted in Yorkshire (Beverley and Heckmondwike) and it is proud to support and strengthen the communities where employees live and work.
To name a few, the company sponsors Beverley Town Football Club, as well as having a long standing partnership with FiND, supporting children and adults with learning disabilities.
Through these programmes, Hodgson Sealants demonstrates that community investment is not just charitable – it is strategic, helping to cultivate skills, opportunity, and social cohesion that benefit both our region and the wider British manufacturing base.
Apprentice of the Year
The Apprentice of the Year award was presented to rising talent Amy Roulston.
R&D Chemist Amy has been at Hodgson Sealants for two years, and in that time she has reportedly shown her dedication and enthusiasm by developing brand new products into the range.
She said: “What’s made this journey so transformative is the amazing support network at Hodgson Sealants. I have been given valuable opportunities to grow, learn and overcome challenges and I always feel lucky to be a part of a team that invests in its people.”
