GGP Installer Awards 2025: Winners and key moments

The winners of the 2025 GGP Installer Awards were crowned at a gala ceremony at Manchester’s Midland Hotel.
With 11 categories up for grabs, this year’s edition of the awards saw a record number of entries, representing the best of the best in the UK’s installer base.
In charge of proceedings was swimming legend Mark Foster, who regaled the room of stories from his career, from starting in the shallow end of his local swimming pool, to tasting success at World and Commonwealth level, and onto his subsequent career presenting coverage of the Olympic Games alongside Clare Balding.
Onto the awards themselves, and the atmosphere in the room reached fever pitch as the recipients were announced. Big winners on the day included the team from Radcliffe Glass & Windows, who scooped two awards – Best Glazed Extension over £40,000, and Best Installation, Residential over £30,000.
Dean Bradley, sales manager at Glazpart, was honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award in recognition of a career dedicated to promoting the importance of trickle vents and ventilation in homes, while Lee Brett of Emerald Windows and Doors was named this year’s Rising Star for his use of social media – and especially TikTok – in promoting the business and growing its customer base.
The entries were judged by an independent panel of industry experts, all of whom remarked on the outstanding quality of this year’s shortlist.
“What an amazing day!” said GGP editor, Chris Beck. “Seeing the quality of this year’s shortlisted entries was an inspiration, and everyone in the room should be proud of their achievements. For the winners, an Installer Award is a prestigious honour that they should treasure. We can’t wait to profile all the winners over the next 12 months, and are already preparing for next year’s edition.”
