Future Products in celebratory mood

Thomas (Thom) Platts, Future Products’ Marketing Strategist, speaks to PiGs about his excitement at the journey of the company, which celebrated its 40th anniversary this year and ending the year on a high with a Christmas door design.
Thom said that this milestone reflects not only the company’s resilience and innovation but also the unwavering support from its loyal customers and dedicated team members.
Future Products began in a 1,000 sq ft facility in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire employing two people. Today, it’s still in Mansfield but now occupies a 67,000 square foot office and factory complex and employs 146 people.
The company was co-founded by Dennis Thorpe, who retired last year leaving the business in the hands of the longstanding leadership team, who took over as Co-Owners. As well as Stuart Bower as Managing Director, the team is completed by Martin Lindsey as Operations Director, Chris Thompson as Sales Director and Andrew Francis as Finance Director.

In a move that Thom said exemplified its commitment to community and the festive spirit, Future Products has showcased its first ever Christmas front door. This product is designed to bring warmth and cheer to its premises, marking a joyful occasion in the company’s history.
Thom said: “As we celebrate 40 years of trading, it’s amazing to reflect on how far the company has come. I was privileged to play a key role in the creation of our new Christmas door, collaborating with various departments to design a door that spreads Christmas cheer, and demonstrates innovation at its core, for our community. We look forward to the journey ahead.”
“As Future Products steps into its new era, we invite the community to join in the celebration of its legacy.”
