Family-run business scoops FENSA Installation of the Year award

Concept Glazing, a small family-run business based in Bournemouth, has won the FENSA Installation of the Year Award 2024.
Out of over 550,000 installations across the UK, the company’s Timberlook flush sash PVC-U window project for a thatched cottage took the top prize.
Jake Connolly, Director at Concept Glazing, explained that the installation was all about retaining the character and heritage of this historic home while providing modern efficiency.
He said: “We went the extra mile to ensure every detail was perfect, blending the new windows seamlessly into the cottage’s traditional charm.
“Opting for a back outer frame, white flush sash and astragal bars – all with a woodgrain finish, forged monkey tail handles and concealed trickle vents. All rendered back in with traditional lime render.”
Jake was delighted to win the award against many other projects of differing sizes.
He added: “As a family business, this award means the world to us. It’s a testament to our commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and making every home we work on truly special.
“At Concept Glazing, we’re passionate about delivering premium, bespoke windows and doors that add style, security and added value to your home. Winning this prestigious award shows that even as a small team, we can make a big impact.
“Thank you to FENSA for recognising our work, and to all our customers who trust us to enhance their homes.”
