Entries for 2025 Schüco Excellence Awards now open

Schüco has announced that entries are now open for its 2025 Excellence Awards.
The awards, now in its 12th year, celebrates design innovation, technical expertise, and collaboration in the built environment.
Held in partnership with Architecture Today, the awards significantly honour outstanding projects that incorporate Schüco aluminium and steel systems.
During this year’s awards, awards for eleven categories will be presented. These include:
- Education
- Health
- Cultural and leisure buildings
- Commercial and mixed use
- Residential developments
- Individual houses
- Sustainability
- Refurbishment and adaptive reuse projects.
In addition, the judges will select one project as the Overall Winner, however, attendees at the awards event will vote for the popular People’s Choice Award.
Isabel Allen, Editor of Architecture Today, returns as chair of the judging panel, and will be joined by eight industry experts. This includes engineers, architects, and façade consultants, several of whom have won an Excellence Award in previous years.
“What’s interesting about judging the Schüco Awards is that we don’t just have architects, we also have fabricator and façade specialists, it’s a melting pot of different perspectives and ideas,” commented Isobel.
The winners are to be revealed at an awards lunch on 26 June, hosted at The Pelligon, Canary Wharf, London.
Winners will be displayed in a special online feature, and in an awards supplement published in Architecture Today magazine.
The deadline for entry is Friday 11 April.
