Kawneer’s Charity Skydive Success Fundraises for Stick ‘N’ Step

A team from Kawneer UK has successfully completed a charity skydive in support of Stick ‘N’ Step, a local charity that provides life-changing support to children with cerebral palsy and their families.

After an initial weather delay, the skies finally cleared for Laura Parsons, Alex Benner, Jack Turner, Harry Turner, Ste Shaw, Dylan Manning, Ste Ramsden, and Mike Parkin of Kawneer to take the leap.
Kawneer said their courage and commitment to this cause is nothing short of inspiring, and they couldn’t be prouder.

The skydive follows last year’s successful Three Peaks Challenge and is part of Kawneer’s ongoing dedication to fostering a community to be proud of and giving back.
So far, the team has raised over £2,700, a contribution that will help Stick ‘N’ Step continue offering vital therapy and support to children local to Runcorn.
The fundraising efforts didn’t stop at the jump. A company-wide Bake Off added ‘extra flavour’ to the campaign, with 11 talented bakers whipping up sweet treats alongside an intense inter-departmental quiz.
Kawneer said it is committed to community and charity and encourage other companies in the glazing sector to find causes close to home and get involved — whether it’s through fundraising, volunteering, or simply raising awareness.
