CRASH Spring Reception celebrates 30 years of impact

CRASH Spring Reception 2026

PiGs Editor, George Lewis, reflects on attending the recent CRASH Spring Reception, and being part of the charity’s 30th anniversary celebrations.

“I feel incredibly grateful to have been part of the recent CRASH Spring Reception in London as one of the charity’s media partners, and being surrounded by so many passionate and dedicated people from across the construction and built environment sectors.

“It was fantastic to meet many inspirational individuals who continue to support the vital work carried out by CRASH. Among those who were really inspirational was Mossie Lyons, whose passion for the industry and charitable work was evident throughout the evening.

“There was also Ann Nugent-Denison, wife of CRASH Founder Tony Denison, whose presence served as a reminder of the organisation’s remarkable 30-year journey.

“During the event, attendees heard about the impact the charity has made over the past three decades. It was announced that since its formation, CRASH has raised more than £12 million in support of homelessness charities and hospices, helping create safe, caring and dignified spaces for people who need them most.

“To see the level of commitment from businesses and individuals across the sector was incredibly encouraging. The event highlighted not only the generosity of the construction industry, but also the importance of collaboration and using professional expertise to make a real difference to people’s lives.

“For me personally, attending the reception reinforced just how valuable organisations like CRASH are, and why we at PiGs continue to support them where we can. It was an evening full of positivity, reflection and appreciation, and one I was proud to be part of.

“A big thank you to CRASH CEO, Trisha Pickersgill and the rest of the team for the invitation.”
