A Supa fundraiser

On 21 April, Nina Watters, Finance Director at SupaLite, will be taking part in her second London Marathon, raising money for the charity Young Minds.
Nina said: “I feel incredibly grateful to have secured a place through the ballot this time, which has allowed me to focus on my training without the added pressure of meeting a fundraising target. As the event draws nearer and my training becomes more challenging, I have had a change of heart about fundraising.
“Now, more than ever, charities need our support.
“The past 14 years have seen a devastating impact on our public services, leaving them ill-equipped to meet the needs of those who rely on them. It is in this context that many charities have stepped up to provide a lifeline for those in need. One such charity is Young Minds.”
Nina explained that Young Minds is an organisation that her and her family have personally used for support. She said that their work in supporting young people and their families is truly amazing. And in today’s world, where young people are increasingly struggling with poor mental health, Nina explained that Young Minds offers vital services that make a real difference.
She added: “I am determined to make a meaningful contribution by fundraising for Young Minds Trust during the London Marathon 2024. My goal is to raise £1,000 to support their important work. Every pound donated will go towards providing essential resources and services for young people facing mental health challenges.”
