Building Our Skills to play ‘prominent role’ at Glazing Summit

Building Our Skills is set to have a prominent role at the Glazing Summit on 17 October at Edgbaston.
More details about its role will follow in due course, but both Building Our Skills and the Mark Allen Group are delighted to make this announcement.
Speaking about the agreement, Mark Handley, Building Our Skills Partnerships Manager said: ‘For Building Our Skills to be associated with prestigious and well respected industry events like the Glazing Summit shows how far we have come, and how well the industry now understands what we are trying to achieve on its behalf”.
“We are determined to make Fenestration, Glass and Glazing a Career of Choice and are committed to attracting the best possible talent to work in our factories, our offices and out on site; creating a workforce for tomorrow; delivering a long-term future for our industry”.
Chris Beck, Editor of Glass & Glazing Products magazine, organisers of the Glazing Summit, added: “We are thrilled to have the support of Building Our Skills at the Glazing Summit 2024.
“The glazing industry is facing a chronic skills shortage, and their goal of making the sector a desirable place to work can only be applauded. I’m excited to see their passion for skills in action at the event this October.”
