BFRC joins Glazpartners initiative

Glazpart has announced that the BFRC (British Fenestration Rating Council) has joined the Glazpartners initiative.
Glazpart says the BFRC is the UK’s most trusted rating council for verifying the energy performance of windows and doors.
Founded to establish the window energy rating system for the UK, to raise standards and drive performance in the industry, BFRC is Europe’s No. 1 ratings council, with the most widely used rating system.
Collaborating with all kinds of organisations across the window and door industry – from big names to small businesses, private and government, both in the UK and internationally – BFRC offers products and services that help raise performance standards and in turn make buildings more energy-efficient.
As well as continuing to promote best practice, BFRC supports those fabricators and installers striving to do the right thing by engaging with the commercial sector to help them gain information about product performance in their buildings. It’s a tough market with constantly changing legislation that is only set to get stronger and more onerous.
Led by Managing Director Richard Sellman, the experienced BFRC team is prepared to go the extra mile to deliver a professional, timely and reliable service.
BFRC is committed to exceeding its clients high standards and expectations and continue to build on their reputation as a collaborative partner, on hand when needed to make testing and certification easier.
On BFRC joining the Glazpartners initiative, Richard commented: “At BFRC, collaboration is key to the success of what we do and that in mind, we’re delighted to become a Technical Glazpartner and support this unique initiative to support its customers.
“With ever changing legislation and increasing scrutiny being placed on the construction industry as a whole, it’s important for companies to ensure they have the latest information and access to people who can support them in these challenging times. We’ve been working hard at BFRC to develop our offering to ensure we can provide relevant and necessary testing and certification for the window and door sectors, and we’re excited to be able to demonstrate through the Glazpartnership initiative.”
Dean Bradley, Glazpart Sales Director added: “We are delighted that BFRC has joined Glazpartners. BFRC are pioneers of window energy ratings and product standards with an industry wide reputation for delivering first class testing and certification. Just like Glazpart and Glazpartners their aim is to help companies comply with regulations and to promote the best in our industry.
“We are looking forward to working with the BFRC team starting next month at PiGs Talking Shop in Bristol where Richard Sellman will be one of our Technical Experts.”
