A new era for Kawneer Europe under Mutares Group

Six months after its acquisition by the Mutares Group, Kawneer Europe has taken targeted steps to strengthen its organisation and leadership, with three new appointments and a name change.
With operations in the Netherlands, France and the United Kingdom, the company said it is focusing on further stability and controlled growth.
Following an analysis of the organisation and its operations, adjustments have been made to the structure and management model. These measures result in clearer responsibilities, faster decision-making and improved alignment with the markets in which Kawneer Europe operates.
Strengthened leadership team
The management structure has been adapted to make the organisation future-proof. Nico Klomp has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Marc van Rijswijk as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Together, they are responsible for the continued development of the company.
In the UK, Peter Webbon has been appointed Commercial and Development Director.
Nico Klomp CEO: “Over the past months, we have taken a critical look at our organisation and our position in the market. With the current structure and a strengthened management team, we are well prepared for the years ahead.”
Marc van Rijswijk CFO added: “By bringing greater focus to our financial and operational processes, we have created clarity and stability. This is an important foundation for further growth.”
Kawneer is now Novastruct
As part of its ongoing rebranding and the migration, the name Kawneer will change to Novastruct. This transition supports our new brand identity going forward. The official European launch of the brand will take place on the 28 May. In the period that follows, the new name will be rolled out in phases across communications in the Netherlands, France and the United Kingdom.
Future
With more than 450 customers, three production sites and over 300 employees, Novastruct said it will continue to invest in innovative and sustainable façade solutions. The partnership with Mutares reportedly supports this development with additional expertise and financial strength.
The company says recent strengthening and the name change mark a clear step in progress for the business and provide a stable foundation for the future.
